Welcome to the Christ the King MIddle School Youth Group Service Project Page! We understand that we, as Catholics are called to serve those who are less fortunate than others, so we will be engaging in various service projects throughout the year.
This September we collected school supplies during our Back to School Social. The supplies will be donated to Catholic Family and Child Services to aid children in foster homes. This project was a great success:
This October, the Christ the King Middle School Youth Group will also be partnering with Life Teen throughout the month of October to collect clothing to donate to the St. Vincent de Paul Society.
The Christ the King Life Teen is uniting with other LIfe Teen Programs for the first ever Life Teen GLobal LIfe Night and Clothing Drive "Give it Away Now!" All you have to do is rummage through your closet and select clothes that you wish to donate and bring them to the Youth Center. The Middle School Youth Group will begin collecting used clothing during it's October 3rd Middle School Youth Group Kickoff. The final day to bring in used clothing is Sunday, October 19th.
Let's help Life Teen worldwide reach its goal of donating 50,000 lbs. of clothing! Find out more information by clicking here or visiting the CK Life Teen website at www.cklifeteen.com
